Well... a GSR with IHE should run mid-high 14's with a good driver, and WRX's run low 14's with a good driver. So yeah, sounds correct. Plus GSR's from a roll =

Guess which year they started to make WRXs in the US... I'll give you a hint, it's after 2001.

Don't forget there are several trim levels, one of which is a high 12 low 13 sec car and the other is a low 14 sec car. A car in the low 14's is quick but isn't impossible to beat if you have put your money in the right places.

any easy way to identify the trim levels? there is a wrx here at my college, normally id just say screw it and race it but it a girl's so that would really suck if she beat me. it has like the really high flat wing, kinda like the rally one.

It sounds about right. WRX's have no top end. Roommate's got one. 14.3 is his best, i believe.

The only difference in trims is " STi or non-STi" If it is an STi, you better be packing fairly serious heat. Otherwise, they're not that bad in stock form.

Difference between 2.5 RS and WRX:

WRX has hood scoop, side skirts (unpainted black), diff exhaust and i'm not sure what else. Both have the widebody.

The '01 RS (previous body style) has the hood scoop too. I think the thing in question is what year car was it really?

WRX's also have foglights (except for the STi), and dual tip exhaust.

The 2001 2.5RS (the previous body style) came with 165 HP and is a mid to high-15's car stock, comparable to the 99-00 Civic Si.
