srt-4's are okay. for a relatively inexpensive quick car though, they're fantastic. i've raced two of them, beating them both. with just a boost controller and exauast though, i'm sure they could at the very least keep up with me. we've only seen the tip of the iceburg from those cars.
a friend of mine has a shelby dodge daytona. it kicks ass. stock it's already 174hp and 200ft-lbs of torque...and it only weighs about 2650lbs. not bad atall. it's a 2.2 liter turbo engine, and my friends has the boost up a bit, a full exaust, and intake. he can almost keep up with me...but his car is a 1990 i think. just like any factory turbo car, the engine can take a mean beating.

What kinda mods you got in there? You sure they are the real SRT4s, or just neons, lol.

Do those have the same 2.2 litre turbo found in the Spirit R/T, Shadow, Sundance, Caravan, etc...?

more than enough to beat a stock srt-4. you shoulda seen it when an sxt tried to race me. i was first hearing about srt-4's, and this sxt was yellow. i was thinkin "hot dog, i got me an srt-4 to race!" then after he tried to pass me and i heard his engine revv up i lost him by about 10 cars.

i'm not sure if it is. i know it has a t3 on it. he has about 90k+ miles on the engine, and it still runs good. he did say though that every now and then when he's workin on his car that he'll find oil in the cylinder. so...not bad i guess. just bad piston ring.

I had one of those Shelby Zs along time ago. It was an 87. I surprised ALOT of people in that thing. Too bad I blew up the motor. Hey, I was only 17. I didn't know that when you have a blown head gasket, its probubly not a good idea to rolling start the car and drive it home.

That's 100 cHP over stock, and should be good for somewhere in the mid 12's.
keyword... FACTORY WARRANTY.

Expect 500 whp from those engines. They're better-built than most 4g63's I've seen.
ya ive heard they'll take more boost than the 4g63 and some of my buddys run 25-30 psi on the 4g63.... so think about it not a fan of dodge or the neon but it could be fast we'll all see how they last, hopefully not like the older ones.
