Hey, if I had a faster car, I'd prowl for faster prey. :fawk:

My Ion, despite having only 140 HP, ran a best of 9.93 in the 1/8 when I took it. That was with a no wheelspin and a good run through the gears. My average time was like 10.05. Other people with Ions tell me they have trouble getting under 11 seconds, but I'd have to try really hard to get as slow as 10.1.
What kind of 60' are you getting on those runs? I ran a 10.38 with a 2.25 60' and your power/weight ratio is about the same as mine.

I'm not for sure, I think it was about 2.20. It may have been 2.12 but that sounds awfully low. When I go back, I'll make sure to actually keep the timeslips.

And, as for the "story", it's more of a complaint. I know that stock Civics are about the slowest cars on the road, but so many people have freakin' orgasms over them like they're the greatest performance cars ever made, I just want to make one (preferably an Si) eat my shat -- with my SATURN! Muahahahahahahaha!

I don't think this forum is anywhere near that type of mentality, but becareful what you call slow when you're pimping a Saturn.

Yeh that's what I thought. I figured to pull that 9.93 he was getting sub 2sec 60' since he's got a 2700lb 140hp car... just doesn't add up. I know mine's a boat, but ~100lbs isn't going to make .4 difference. h:

Eh, when the track opens back up I'll post some time slips.

My own tests with a stopwatch and landmarks have indicated 1/4 mile times of around 15.9.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 08:12 PM.
