can't you just take it to your dealership and have it professionally removed for free???

Im not sure about that. I didnt think that a dealership would do anything for free. If they do then it's a good dead. It never hurts to try.

Ummmm... yeah.. somehow I don't think the dealership will do it for free. Unless of course you just bought the car and tell them you want it removed before you leave the lot... they'll do just about anything:naughty: to get you to drive off with one of their cars

baaaaaaad idea. I've messed a lot of things up by doing that. It'll take the paint off easy.

the rubber wheel from 3M is the professional way to do it, you can then buff in and make it look like it was never there. My girlfriend's 93 accord came out perfect after like 10 yrs of having the pinstripe on it, we used the 3M strip wheel and a variable spd buffer from dewalt. No problem

Yeah I was thingking the same... just use a regular old buffer... it will be much easier and quicker than a little dremmel tool... Like hondatech said I would follow his method... sounds like good advice to me:thumbup:

if it's a decal, just get some adhesive remover for about $4 from kragen. It doesn't hurt the paint, so it's no problem.

Take a credit card to it. I removed the remaining paint with gasoline.

Wow so much hating on the pinstripe lol. For some reason I always liked the one that was put on my 02 Accord. I have yet to see anyone with the exact same one I have. I guess it could be because it was bought from a dealer about 50 miles away from home. I did take off the dealer's name that they always stick in the back though. I don't do free advertising :chuckles: .
