i was going to take off my oem sideskirts but noticed the are not unscrewing they turn but do not come out. Is there anyone who knows how to get your oem sideskirt off on a civic 96-00.?

You unscrew the visible screws inside the fender well that hold the skirt on. You then remove the numerous plastic screws/retainers that are underneath the car. When you have all of these off, the skirt will slide forward (toward the front of the car) and pull out. They're off.

Well its not too hard. There are plastic scrws under the factory side skirt that sometimes unscrew and sometimes they don't. If they don't want to unscrew...basically rach under there and pull as hard as you can and they pop out. then unscrew them out of the plastic piece when you get it off. They will still work even though you pulled them out. Basically after you got the 3...maybe 4 screws undone under the side skirt...i think there are 2 in the front of the scirt...right nehind the front wheel that come in done. I think that should cover all the screws. then basically go to the read wheel and take the palm of your hand and hit the skirt and give it a shove foward. it should slide foward themn come off. if your are tapping the hell out of it and it doesn't slide foward...then there may be one more screw but otherwise it should slide foward and off the hooks it is sitting on.
