Dope write up. Where can I get a lot of different diameter races for my press? I've been scrounging around metal yards looking for similar size piping I can modify to use as a race. No avail.

give harbor freight a try. I just used large sockets.

Thanks so much for the pics and the time you put into this tutorial. I am about to put my D-series L3 tranny together after replacing broken shift fork and this will help tremendously. Big thumbs up!

Here is another tool for you to remove bearings from the case. You can purchase these at Harbor frieght.

just used this guide to rebuild my DX hydro tranny and clean/paint the case. great writeup!!
