Default 91 Accord Balance Shaft Belt

I was going to replace timing belt and Balance shaft belt - After opening up the covers to remove belts, it was determined that belts were already replaced by my brother (previous owner) and did not require replacement - We did take off the balance shaft belt to inspect - Engine was at TDC and first lined up timing marks on the pulley on the left looking at the engine, we did not align the key way on the center pulley located on crankshaft and could not find any timimg marks on the right pulley - It wasn't until we started to install the crank pulley that the key ways were not lined up - rotated crank until the key ways aligned and intalled key and pulley - ENGINE DOESN'T EVEN FIRE NOW - Will Not START

Did you disconnect the crank position sensor or possibly pull the wire out of the sensor? Its a sensor right next to the pully inside the covers.

BTW, the balance shaft doesnt do anything more than "control" engine vibration.
