This morning I found the engine check light on, and not sure what happen, I stop one time, and let it cool down for about 10 minutes, but no difference, it still light on, please give me some suggestion or refer to URL how to know a little more about the engine check light on, and how to get the error code.
If possible, somebody on Long Island (New York) can recommend the good place for the engine check and repair, I knew my friend has been charged over $800 in Honda dealer, it is too much.

You can go to autozone or another auto parts store that would be able to loan you a diagnostic tool [for free] so that you can check what the CEL code is. They should also be able to let you know what the code means so that you could fix it.
