Odometer stopped working...any ideas?

Default Odometer stopped working...any ideas?

hey a little while ago i noticed my odometer on my 94 accord stopped working..i have yet to take it to a mechanic, but does any one have any ideas? lose connections? broken relays? help me out thanks

Does you speedometoer still work? If not it could be your VSS, the vehicle speed sensor... ...if you have cruise control a dead VSS would keep the cruise from working as well.

this happened to my friend. speedo works fine. but odometer stops working sporadically. haven't fixed it yet

hey yeah the speedometer and cruise work fine...no problems...just no idea why the odometer would quit

Default Some Idea's to fix the problem

Your odometer is connected to the distrubator by either 2 or 1 wire for it to work. Here is a web site for a manual for your Accord , http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ First check for a loose connector's or wires near the distributor. I hope this helps.

the tachometer still works...if it was the rpm sensor would the tach still work?
