yes it's been done before. quite a few times. i take it that you're going all motor, due to the fact that thats just a j-spek b18b1. as for things you'll need, well look it up. you're gonna need alo more than just the motor and a tranny. you might wanna consider getting the ecu, linkages & axles, unless you have cash to get other than stock shtuff. gl

You're not going to pass any emissions tests if you do that.

It's been done hundreds of times. You'll need to reuse your D-series wiring harness and injectors and swap to a 92-93 B18A or 94-95 B18B distributor for OBD1 compatability. You also need a cable/hydro conversion kit if you want to use that trans.

It depends on the state.

Example:
California: they'll fail you for having an engine older then the car.
Virginia: they'll fail you if it doesn't pass the sniffer (which it will.)
Florida: if the car has four wheels, it's legal.

Yeah, I don't know where you live, but it is not suggested you stick an old motor in a newer car. It is usually the other way around.

Good point. The B18B was only availible as J-spec (note the "C" in speC!) in the ESi model... considering we are talking about the B18A, you make no sense, since the B18A was NEVER (!) availible in Japan as a stock engine.

Your gonna need the following from a 94+ Integra.

ECU
Linkage
Upper driverside mount
Rear mount
Upper Tranny mount
Distro

Things needed from your civic.

Lower driverside mount
Lower Tranny mount
Harness
Injectors

Things you can use from doner.

Motor
Tranny
Axels

I think that is pretty much it. Hope everything you will need hope that helps.

Just incase you wanna know why you need your stock harness, and injectors plus a 94-95 distro from a integra is because these are all OBD1.
