What did you guys use to reattach the reupholstered part back onto the door panel?

Mine has little cut outs on the metal that just fold over and crimp onto the plastic.

3M makes an adhesive that's in a spray can. I'm sure this is what's used as I've seen a lot of upholsterers use this when doing door panels.

i need to redo mine, i got lazy and ripped the same fabric off my ls when it was totaled and stuck it on my gsr's panels

Use 3m Super 77 Or Super 90....its Like 9 Bucks....mask Off What You Dont Want Sprayed...and Spray Both The Panel And The Vinyl....let Dry For A Minute Then Apply Vinyl.. Have Pics But Not As Im Doing Ti Just When Its Done Which Maybe I'll Post Those Later

jdm door panels
hey i did my door panels too here's a pic.. costs me about 5$ for the material.. and i had some 3m super 90 spray glue.. enjoy..

i pulled all of the cloth off of mine and fiberglassed them. i'll post pics later
