Default Custom Interior Doors

i was wanting some tips or tricks on removing the carpet material from the doors of my 91 accord and adding some new fabric/material. the carpet/fabric that is on my doors now is old and peeling off. any ideas please....

its probably the same as my 6gen. you have to remove the door panel, and then you'll see some plastic "rivets" holding the armrest section to the rest of the panel. cut the tops off those rivets rewrap armrest then find a way to secure the armrest back to the rest of the panel. i actually tapped the holes that were left in the back of the door panel and used short flat head bolts to secure them. worked amzing

do u kno if i need to prep the surface, other than cleaning, like sanding or anything?

I just did my door panels, I used 3m Adhesive and a hot glue gun. I just sprayed the adhesive right over the old fabrc and put the new one on. It took about 20 mins for each door.

i used dap contact cement. holds much better than any spray adhesive.. however you brush it on which is not the ideal way for doing door panels. still mine turned out great. i posted a pic in teg92's thread
