Looks realy good I just did mine and I painted mine Ford Blue it looks really good but I out clear coat on mine and it keeps chipping what do you think I should do?

My guess would be that the clearcoat is not meant for high temp applications. If you want it shiny like it has a clearcoat on it and want it to stay like that, you are going to have to have it powdercoated because of heat.

mine is a crappy candy blue,,, what do i need to do to prep it since
it is already painted?
What you will need to do is sand it back down to the bare metal, prep it with a couple coats of high temp primer (make sure you do all the prep work for painting it first) and then paint away, should turn out just fine if you take your time and do it right.
I would wet sand it if I were you with probably an 800 grit paper till you get the blue off, maybe a little harsher but not much, then go to the 1500-1800 and wet sand the bare metal till smooth.
