no the paint has to be high temp-you wouldn't be able to use your exterior paint.

go for the wrinkle paints those look awesome. and actually something you can do is paint it with wrinkle paint, and then paint over the wrinkle paint with any colored high temp paint. this is great because they only sell wrinkle in red and black

No. Normal paint will burn or flake off no matter what is under it.

Here is one that CIVICgs400T did on turboD16.com and I think that it looks awesome. It looks almost exactly like our TypeR B Series valve cover finishes that everyone wants.

I am doing it this weekend. I will post up a DIY and the pictures on how it came out.

Props to CIVICgs400T on turbod16, he did this first, I am just bringing it to HAN

Wow, that's a really nicely done cover... except for the whole red cover D-series thing.

Fear the turbo D!!!

I know a lot of B Series Owners that look at my car as it goes by and go: "Man, I wish I had a turbo D instead of spending 2 grand more, swapping in a comepletely different motor, and still getting my a$$ kicked by a SOHC D...."

Hear it all the time.... Most have to go to therapy....

But do you have to use a wrinkle plus coating on it.

This is the second thread I've seen this in, start your own damn thread in the Accord, Prelude, or Engine Tech sections.
