i got my mouldings all back on my car the other day after i painted them. if anyone needs help with theirs i'll be glad to answer any questions

damn man that looks good :thumbup: but i got a 5th gen and not sure about pulling them off the right way with out breaking anything...but my paint on my car will throw off the newly paint moldings dont ya think :ghey:

^^ thanks for the compliment .

yah you might have some problems using new oem paint because yours may have faded over the years. ask around,see if anyone will match the paint thats on your car and put it in a can for you.

i used krylon paint for those mouldings and they turned out well..but i've been having problems with the color. sometimes its dead on..sometimes its a tad lighter. sometimes its deffinitly a shade lighter. for example: eyelids are dead on match, side mouldings are a tad lighter, front lip is deffinitly a shade lighter..its rediculous! hahah

so i think for my rear lip i'm gonna check to see who can match paints and stuff. i went to paintscratch.com and from the looks of it, they want 30 bucks for a 12 oz can of paint!! hell no! hahah i do everything DIY to save money..not spend the same as having it pro done..sheesh. i don't doubt that they have good qual paint.. but so does krylon.. i'm just concerned about matchin colors ya know.. so i'm gonna look for an alternative to paint the rear lip with.

:werd: well im plannin on gettin my whole car painted in the near future so i might just hold off but anything would look better than my sides :barf:
