Default Wax

What do you guys use, and what do you think is the best?

I've used...Mothers California Gold, Mequair's gold and tech. I think Mothers is best so far. But looking for something better. Anyone use Zymol or Pinnacle?

Mothers is good, Zymol also good but way overpriced.

I have been using Turtle's new "Endurance" wax and have been very impressed. Easy to apply, leaves very little residue (i.e. powder) and gives an excellent shine on clear coat.

I've yet to be impressed with anything Turtle Wax makes. I threw away a nearly full bottle of it after I used it, and it came off after 1 wash.

this is the shine I got with Turtle and it lasts. I wash my car almost every other day. (what kind of soap are you using?)

ICE is a polish, not a wax. offers little in the way of paint protection

I always stick with meguiars everything. I have meguiars NXT generation paste wax, the stuff is unbelievable, everyone compliments me on how shiny the car looks and its awesome protection. I actually waxed it up before I left it for college and my dad says its still repelling stuff. But, you can't just do wax.
If you want it done right, you need a great wash, paint cleaner, polisher, and wax. And if you haven't ever done it, you could also use some clay-baring to take off any environment contaminants. I use meguiars gold class wash, meguiars crystal clear paint cleaner, meguiars crystal clear polisher, and NXT generation paste wax and the results are unbelievable. It's a bit costly, but it'll last you forever.
