Default 89 teg dizzy?

The never ending parts quest continues.......
Ive been trying to find a 88-91 si dizzy for my mini me and have about given up, does anyone know if you can use a 88-89 teg dizzy?

No because the Teg was on a DOHC engine and has no internal cylinder position sensor like the Si has. So the answer is NO.

Now you can use a 89 teg ecu on an si cant you? (i remember reading it somewhere i just cant remember where)

You can use the ECU, but it will make you run REALLY rich and you won't see any significant gains from that. The ZC is really the only engine you can use the Si and Teg ECU and have any gains from it.

yeah thats what i thought, i was thinking of using it with my mini me set up, because i was thinking about going junkyard turbo with low boost. Voila cheapo fuel manegment, well sorta....
