d15 and d16 shift linkage

would the shift linkage for a d15b2 (4 speed) work on a d16a6 tranny (5 speed)?

D15B2s only had 5spds, not 4spds. The 4spd was in the STD which had a D15B1. I suppose it will work, I don't see why it would be different.
