Does somebody know the difference between the JDM 88-89 Civic SiR EF9 seats and the JDM 90-91 Civic SiR ones. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 88-89 come with black siding and the middle is ?????? and the 90 ones (cause they were no EF9 in 1991 I've heard) come with grey siding with a grey and red ligned middle? Is this right?

 

id suggest pming jspecmugen he recently got an entire ef9 conversion for his hatch, and has those seats currently in his car

 

been a while, but aren't the rails different from the 88-89 and the 90-91? Not sure if you're looking that deep into it or not...

 

I know JSpecMugen has the seats, but I bought them

well, if the civic should be pretty close to the CRX in design.. and 88-89 CRX seats are different than 90-91 seats. Frames are different. BUT, you can just interchange the frames to the seats. I would like to think this would be the same for the Civic as well... but i dunno :dunno:... good luck
