i'm gettin a code 17 which is for the vehicle speed sensor...i just put the 88-89 gauge cluster in my 91 DX...i used the 4thgenereationcivic.com websites wiring diagram of the 2 clusters to wire it up...all the gauges in it work but i was gettin a check engine light and then i found out it was a code 17...the speedo works...what should i do?..later

i dunno...maybe you missed a ground or something as the gauges are working

 

it doesn' seem co-incidently that you recently did work on it. So if the sensor decided it would be an amusing time to go bad, it would be pretty co-incidental, and frustrating.

have to ask, did you try resetting the ecu?
