Default engine swaps

If anyone knows where to get any new engines for a 86 honda civic or a swap which will fit. Tell me or post it. Mine needs to be thrown out. But I was hoping I could find a v-tec to go in.

I think that the 1st Gen Integra D16A6 engines bolt right into your car, it's pretty much a ZC.

There are lots of engines that can be put in your car. Also be careful with 1st Gen teg engines, the Brown top ZC is the closest you'll get to a "drop in".

i dont think ur gonna find something vtec for ur carbd vehicle at least not without changing it to fi, ur best bet would be the dual over head cam zc brown top that 1stgencrxer was pointing out but make sure its the not the black top cuz thats for 88-91 civics and crxs

I planned on switching to fi. But I wanted to know if this integra engine was stronger and what kind of hps its got. Or just plain to see if it would spank the type in it right know.

well if ur planning on switching it to fi then uve got ur work cut out for u, but if u do then u can easily swap in many different engines. if not then u can still have huge hp gains by swapping in a better engine block.

If all you're looking for is more power out of your carb'd engine, there are other carburetor options that will do that for you.

I am not sure if that is what it is but the numbers on the block start with B 20.
