i understand that the bore is different for the head gasket. i got the head gasket for a 1.3. but, the oil pan gasket is different also. shouldnt the oil pan gasket be the same?

I'm not sure why the oil pan gaskets are different unless the 1300 has something other than a stamped steel oil pan. The Si and DX oil pan gaskets are the same, even though the pans are different.

cool. thanks man. i have to do this swap now because the crx's rear crossmember rust out and snapped. it is totally undriveable.

in the meantime swap over the rear crossmember so you have a car to drive, hate to be out of a mode of transportation, even if it isnt working well, its so much better than nothing

i got another car to drive, so it isnt a big deal. i payed nothing for the crx and drove it for like 6 months. i need to finish this civic swap because i need to fix my wife's 89 acura legend (motor is shot ).
