changing locks?
i dunno about you guys but in my area people are easily breaking into, 4th gen civics/ accords, g2 integras, 2nd gen rexes, and 5th gen civics.
all of the cars that have been broken into are being opened with a master key of some sort, this can can also turn on the car if done properly, (ive seen it with my own eyes) im just wandering if changing my locks to acura legend locks or 94 up integra locks would cure the problem.
what i would like to know is would locks from a legend or integra fit on a 89 crx? i saw the keyless entry thing that 4th gen hatch has up but i dunno about that.how much does the keyless entry kit cost?

No one can open your locks if you ain't got them! Plus you can't slim jim the rear hatch lock. I guess you could open it with a master key but seriously that would look sketchy if someone saw someone climbing into the back.
Not to be an ass or anything and I love what fourthgen has done with his locks, but the bottom line is get an alarm and don't leave things of value just sitting out in the open. When they stole my si I got it back with the locks intact and the yes I had locked the car. All of the cars mentioned above I have owned and all have been broken into with minor to no damage done. If we can spend thousands to modify and customize are cars we must be able to shell out some good money to protect it from the petty car thieves. THeres not much to do against the high tech ones but I doubt they want my poor trashed si. When I locked my keys in the car it took me 5 minutes to get them out so a pro would probably do it in less time. Oh and if you don't have the money right away at least get a kill switch it saved my bros old boosted hatch from starting when they tore apart his ignition.
the little switch on the clutch is a direct ground for the starter solenoid. cut that and put a toggle on it and hide it, not only will it never start unless someone crosses the contacts on the starter itself, but you can have fun setting starters on fire by cranking while in gear. NOBODY will be able to steal your car then.
