? about shocks...
alright, as most of you know i wrecked my car about a month ago and i had a 4th gen w/ KYB AGX's.
im almost positive im buying a 5th gen this week but i want to know if i an use my shocks on the 5th gen
they are different part numbers but the part numbers on 5th and 6th are different too but i know that will work cause my buddy has 5th gen shocks on his 97.
the only difference i can think of is that the 5th gen ones may have a little longer shaft but i dont really think it will affect anything, and i shoud be ok if i order another 4th gen shock and use it (the front passenger side shock was owned in the accident) for the 5th gen

well im positive the rears are the same, and like i said one of the fronts is blown, so all i really have is the drivers side one. if it doesnt fit, i'll sell u the drivers side one for $50 shipped
I think they will, because people who do a 4G Si-R front brake conversion have to use 5G forks, so that means the forks will bolt up to the strut, and the strut will obviously bolt to the car. So I say yes it will work. However it might have less travel than one meant for the 5G, not sure though.
