Default no spark

well as the title sayz i got no spark ... i just finished putting ina b18a1 into my 89 dx..... i had the mpfi swap for a while and it worked great. well i had code 14 so i switched my iac valve with a extra one i had and still nothing to i figured a wire had a bad conection or something.... so i drove it in to my garage and redid my wiring...... went to start it and nothing just cranks like no tomorrow.. at first i had no fuel and spark turned out to be my #14 fuse not a problem and i have fuel now...... i checked the rest of my fuses and grounds and they seem to be ok..........i changed the ignitor and coil too.. still no spark...im lost on the whole thing and dont know what it could be.

Might sound stupid, but a very common mistake. Did you make the spark wires in their correct firing order off the dizzy?

Yeah bad grounds will **** up your car and give you more headaches than you can imagine. Do yourself a favor and make yourself some new ones. I made new ones using Rockford Fosgate gold Ring Terminals and some 8AWG Monster Cable and I noticed my electronics run a little stronger (lights look brighter, etc...). Those old stock ones are really nasty and oxidized looking. The ones I made are water and weather proof plus the wire is copper unlike whatever that stock crap is.
