2 am and I was the only car on the road cop said I was flying doing at least 60 in a 40 from the sound of it. He let me off but told me to get it fixed so I went to my buddys muffler shop and got my whole exhaust cat-back redone. I post pics later but I basically had him cut the tip off the fart can and put the muffler under the car in the place where the stock one goes and he bent pipe for the other side and put my tip on the end. Its much quieter now no raspy idle and only loud when I'm on it. I can't wait to get some stock looking tips.

 

most people don't know but the exhaust tip is a major cause of the sound of the exhaust system...a 4" tip is loud b/c of the echo created...smaller the tip the quieter it gets...i went from a 4.5" tip to a 2.5" tip and it made a huge difference in sound...it actually sounds more aggressive than buzzy...only cost me $50 for the tip (includin cutting and welding the new one on)
