Default Gas Mileage?

i have a 1988 CRX HF with a b16a1 motor in it. my question is, is it normal for my car to get only about 100miles from a full tank of gas? my gas tank holds about 6 to 7 gallons.
thanx!

You should get more miles from a tank than that, and the HF should have at least a 9 gallon tank.

Your fuel gauge might be wrong.

My ZC gets between 225-250 w/the majority being city miles, and about 9 gallons of use, that's when I fill it up. I know the needle goes below the red, but I prefer not to let that happen.

I'm pretty sure the 88 HF had a 10.6 gallon tank, so it sounds like your gauge is off about 5 gallons. OTOH, 20 miles to the gallon sucks for a Honda... even my RX-7 gets 20MPG, and it needs work. Try a full tune-up, and see what happens from there. If you feel so inspired, check and/or replace the O2 sensor, they have been known to kill milage when they "burn out."
