Best CR-X Setup
Hi, I'm a brand-spanking new member here and I'm looking forward to learning more about Hondas. But I'm particularly interested in the Honda CR-X.
I would like to what the best possible setup is for a Honda CR-X including:
-Engine Swap
-Intake upgrade
-Exhaust upgrade
-Ignition upgrade
-Fuel system upgrade
-Cams and valves upgrade
...and anything else that would improve my performance.
I would also like to know how much it would all cost.

Skimask, welcome to H/A. Now is your CRX a Si. For the swap alot of guys like the B16A,Aem short ram intake, if you live with alot of bad weather snow etc. I'd get a Thermal Research Development exhaust which is stainless steel throughout. I have one on my Civic Si. Cams & Valves go with the CTR or Skunk2. Of what I mentioned you'll be looking at least 6K.
One thing keep in mind the B16 have no torque. Another thing alot of guys go with if properly done right is get a B18A LS block & put a B16 head on as a LS Vtec. Do more research. Good luck..
My self have a B16. It doesn't have the torque but I don't care. When I want more torque I just jump in my Integra Gsr .

I have not bought a CR-X yet. I'm looking for the best CR-X to choose and upgrade. I see that I will be looking for an Si.
6k isn't half bad. Thanks for response.
I might get an Intergra too, but for know I have to go cheap and fast.

yeah 90-91 crx si is what you want you'll pay a pretty penny since they're still high demand for a light car to go fast. Also the si model had rear disk.
The Integra is nice also but me personally I'd get a Integra GSR model. Fun car to drive. Good luck
