Default can anyone help

I put in a MSD coil blaster 2 and nolagy spark plug wires on my 86 crx si and when I hooked the neg. cable to battery it blow a 55a fuse under the hood. I guess I wired the coil wrong. Does anybody know how to wire the coil blaster?

86 Si doesn't have the coil in the distributor - the coil is external - the coil has 2 sets of 2 wires going to it - the black with yellow stripe is positive (+) and the blue is negative (-) - connect both black/yellow to positive and both blue to negative

Thats what I did, but i used a MSD resister and I put in nology spark plug wires and the wires have ground cable. I ground them to the valve cover. I also put ground kit and volteg stabalizer. they have been for a year now and no problems. I don't know if any of those things could be confliting each other or maby I don't need the resister? If you can help

Do you have the ground kit and stabilizer kit in?? I don't think you need the resistor in my B20 I didn't use the resistor same as my 89 DX
