help with hydro tranny
i put a 92-95 ex tran in my 90 honda civic 4dr i have the hasport conversion mount and they said to use my shift linkage from my car so i use the one from my car and now my shifter sit far back now and didnt want to go into 2,4,r but the 92-95 is to long so i grinded some of the metal off of the shifter housing on the linkage so it can go into all the gear but i like to know if anyone had this problem or can someone tell me what shift linkage to use
Crap. I'm in the process of doing the same thing for my friend's DX. I have the Eg linkage still connected to the donor tranny.
The only mount you need to change is the tranny mount on the right side?
Hydraulic works like it does in an EG? Nothing else to do there?

you need the tranny mount plus the piece to replace the slave cylinder on the tranny so the cable can enable& disable the clutch but you didn't get far so at this point and time you dont understand or cant tell me what i need to know
I was under the assumption that you'd be able to keep hydraulic nature of the tranny. o:
I saw this mount, and didn't realize it's where the slave cylinder used to be.

Well, after doing a lot of research, I just got my hands on an Si cable tranny for cheap. I'm doing this for a friend, so I just need it to be simple. Going OBD0 to OBD1 has turned out to be not so plug and play as I'd hoped. I had to get someone to re-do the wiring. Picked up Ecu jumpers, dizzy jumpers... I had to give him the 2 vtec sensors, the 4 injector rail and the 4 wire injector harness. I'm picking up the JDM d15b vtec motor Wed or Thursday and the wiring guy is gonna come over with the conversion harness he's making from scratch. Still having fun, though :hs:

Good looks on the help!
