Default Steering Rack Problems

Hello all, Today I did the inner and outer tie rods, and got a full allignment. But I noticed I still have some minor movement in the steering while I was getting it alligned. The Steering Rack needs maintenace or needs to be replaced. I have a 90 crx si. any suggestions for maintenance of some sort or do I just need to put a whole new rack in. never messed with this area before.

Was the inner tie rod hard to change? I take it you didn't need to drop the steering rack to get to the inner tie rods? Do you have a how to on how to change the inner tie rods? I think mines messed up and need to change it... thanks!

You should definitely consider replacing the rack. Its not expensive to take it to a rack rebuilder, usually costs about $110.
