1988 Honda Civic 4 door sedan now that thats outta the way what the hell can i do in the engine depart like what would be the best swap.

Depends on what kind of power you're looking for. I personally like the LS swap but it's really if you're looking for high end power or off the line power.

i work at farmfresh it's not big but i just wanna know whats a good engine to go with and also is their anything wrong with the H22 cause alot of people are saying their is something wrong with compresion or something after you build the motor up.

yea h22's are heavy but arnt bad in 5th gens w/ the hasport kit but 4th gens are damn near impossible you dont even have much room for anything (AC, turbo)w/ the b-series motor


for alot of torque id say go w/ a b18b (3rd gen teg LS moter) or a b20 they are bothe very torquy. espessially the b20

i'd personally just say go with the b18c swap, nice top end power and a lot easier to put in than a H22
