Default d16a6 head on a d15b7 block

i have a d16a6 head on my d 15b7 will it work and or will i get any thing out of it and i just got a aftermarker intake manifold will i get a noticeable diff.

yes the head will work and i will be faster or the mainifold will be a noticable differance

the a6 head is built. can i put a a6 head on a b7 block???(will the compressions work??)

unless it's been 'milled' the compression will be the same.

btw, use a y7/y8 cam gear with the a6 cam (to compensate for the different deck height of d15b7 to d16a6)

if you use the b7 gear you will be off by approx 1 tooth.
can be fixed with an adjustable cam gear.
but a y8 gear is much cheaper.
