Default Bushing Interchange ability

I'm fixing to upgrade my 90 CRX bushings front and rear. I'm having trouble find "hardrubber" bushings for it:thinking:. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did. I also wanted to know if anyone knew what is interchangeable between other honda/acura models. Please include model and yr.

If it were me, and I've done most of them, replace them with an Energy Suspension kit. Click here for their Honda page
I've replaced most of my bushings with the Master Set(which reminds me I really need to get the trailing arm bushing kit, badly).

I wouldn't recommend trying to interchange bushings. The problem is stock bushings are machine pressed in, and you will most certainly ruin them just getting them out. It would take more time than it's worth trying to do it that way, and you'll just end up wishing you spent the extra $ to keep it simple with good quality upgraded parts.

I was actually planning on doing the energy suspension but was told by a couple of auto-crossers that it's too hard for auto crossing. That it's better for drag. I was told hard-rubber bushings were better for auto crossing. I didn't mean OEM.

Default same predicament

I understand that if you own a 5th gen Civic that Hardrace makes a bunch of rubber bushings that are claimed to have a compound "150% harder" than stock. However, all that they catalog for the EF Civ and CRX are hard rubber motor mounts...no suspension parts whatsoever. Anybody know of another option?

I have the energy suspension kit for my CRX and it works great. make sure you get the 90-91 kit as i believe it is a little different than 88 - 89.
