exhaust smoke after shifts
what is it that you have to replace when you only see smoke out the exhaust when you get on it and shift and then get on it again and (the big cloud of smoke comes out for that brief moment when u just get back on it, i think it was something that was with the valves but im unsure.

Sure it's not light blue? That would most likely be valve guide seals. If it's definitely white (coolant) you should be losing coolant. Is the level in the overflow reservoir OK?

Rings
I would bet on rings if the smoke is blue. Generally if you get a puff of smoke when you shift the rings are gone. The engine forms a slight vacuum when you shift that pulls oil past the rings into the cylinders that shows as a brief blue cloud when you accelerate. Valve seals will generally only cause smoke at start up briefly after the engine has been standing for a while and oil has had a chance to leak down the valve stem past the bad seals and accumulate on top of the valve or in the cylinder. Check your compression on all cylinders dry and then squirt a little oil in each one and check again. If the compression comes up after doing this the rings are shot. Also compare the dry compression number to the factory specs for your specific engine. The number should be + or - 10% of the factory number. Best of luck.

Is the cel on?
What computer?injectors?air fuel controller?turbo?
1.check your compression or do a cylinder leak down test go with bamabear
(if you compression is shit rings or ring lands)
2.hook rad pressure tester or find some way to build about 15 psi in you coolant system. Pull your plugs and look for coolant build up on the to of your pistons.Hell check your oil if its milky you have a coolant leak.
(bad head gasket,cracked block,cracked head)
3. to check valve guides take apart both you intake and exhaust manifold. Look for oil build up on the valve stems. Bad Intake guides smoke almost all the time oil is sucked into the engine this oil is then burned.
Bad Exhaust guides only smoke once the valve has gotten hot burning off this oil. Also with the head apart you can move the valve back and forth,if you have a lot of play you have a bad guide if not you have a bad valve guide seal.
The next 3are funny but I have seen them before
4.Loose spark plugs along with bad tube seals.Again when you let of the gas you have a huge build up of vacuum for a half a second.
5. pcv valve stuck closed, oil pushes back up you fresh air intake tube into you intake.Instead of threw your oil vapor separator.
6.Clogged air filter lets you engine build vacuum at all rpms and lots of it sucking oil past you rings.lol
Some of the tests don't quite apply to your problem but its good to check if the compression test passes.
My two cents on rings but hell anything can happen.
