I won't go into details but my battery shorted out and fried a bunch of my cables. I replaced all the wires that I could find that had been fried. It doesn't turn over and when I go to crank it my dash goes apeshit and all sorts of lights come on that shouldn't. For instance, when my e-brake is down the brake light comes on and goes off when it's up. My tach shoots up to three thousand and just sits there and other random stuff. I work and go to school constantly and I'm not well versed with electronics in the first place. I really don't know where to start or have any idea what causes weird stuff like that to happen. Any advice helps, thanks.

 

I HATE electrical but if your battery fried stuff I'd track down a full engine harness then do as much of the internal electric as you can. Are you getting code lights on your ecu or just dash? SOunds like you melted some shit together
