Default singal light question

how can i stop the signal light from constnatly being on but, only have it blink when needed? The only way I know is if the thing inside the bulb goes bad naturally preventing it from constantly being on and the second thing still works.

If you mean your signal lights are stuck in the ON position all the time, check your turn signal/head light switch. Something is probably shorted or worn out in that.

Signal lights blink/flash because of a blinker relay. The signal light bulbs are just regular light bulbs, nothing special.

I think, the blinker relay is mounted on the fuse panel under the driver's side dash.

If it's neither the turn signal/head light switch or the flasher relay, check the wiring to the turn signal bulbs themselves for shorts (or plain old mis-wiring on a previous owners part).
