Default pm7?

i have the sohc zc [d16a6 equivalent] in my 91 civic hb, i have the si throttle body and mpfi. right now i have the pm6 ecu would the pm7 ecu be better for more power? btw i would get the [working] pm7 from a friend for 30 dollars.

also i know that the pm7 ecu might make it run more rich and it already is running rich on the pm6. could this be from advanced timing or a timing problem most likely? I would get fix the timing before putting the pm7 of course and my valves need to be adjusted badly could this cause richness or other problems related?

the final question being would switching over to pm7 from pm6 be a good choice.

Keep the PM6 unless you want a extra ECU for chipping just run the PM6.
