Default dohc zc

Right now i have a sohc zc motor in my 1991 civic si and its not cutting it. I was wondering if swapping it for a dohc zc motor would be worth my money , because I've heard some good things about the dohc because of the money saved and the ease of installation. I'm on a low budget so i need a good swap for my money; any ideas or input?

DO you have a stock D16A6 or a real SOHC ZC?

on a low budget, staying with the D-series engine will be the least expensive - of all the D-series engines, the DOHC ZC will outperform any of the SOHC engines and it will be the easiest to install in your car - will bolt right up to your transmission and mounts - use the engine harness from your SOHC ZC and you will need to make a minor wiring change at the distributor

Go with the DOHC, best bang for the buck, especially on a low budget and it is easy to install.
I have have had both the SOHC and DOHC, prefer the DOHC.

Also, almost any B series bolt-on will work with the DOHC ZC. Even Jackson Racing makes a Charger set-up specifically for your ZC swap. Kool huh?

that would be D-series - B-series parts (except for cam gears) will not fit on the DOHC ZC
