on a low budget, staying with the D-series engine will be the least expensive - of all the D-series engines, the DOHC ZC will outperform any of the SOHC engines and it will be the easiest to install in your car - will bolt right up to your transmission and mounts - use the engine harness from your SOHC ZC and you will need to make a minor wiring change at the distributor
