anytime you swap a B-series engine into the CRX you will also need the B-series transmission - D-series transmissions won't bolt to a B-series engine

B16A SiR swap into a 89 CRX Si, if you do all the work yourself will run around $2000 or more, depending on what all you do to it before you install it (like clutch, timing belt, water pump, gaskets, seals, etc.) - you will need a mount kit, shift linkage and possibly axles (depending on the condition of the ones that come with a complete swap)
