what swap would be easier and cheaper for a 1991 civic hb 4 speed. i just want an engine that im able to turbo. im sick of this 1.5 4 speed piece of crap.

 

Ok, I hate whem ppl say this... But this question has been asked and answered a gazillion times already... Search... Essentially all of the engine bays on all of the 88-91 Civics/CRXs are the same (auto matic or standard, LX or Si, Civic Sedan or CRX) and will take the same engines... Just some require more wiring than others... But when it comes down too it, you have same engine bay the CRX, and I can gaurantee, if its a Honda engine worth swapping, its been done to the CRX, and someone did a write up on it somewhere... But probably the easiest and cheapest, would be a DOHC ZC, or even a D16A6... As for the last comment, any engine can be turboed... Even that '1.5 4 speed peice of crap'...
