No start on CRX, need serious tech help
OK, my buddy has a 91 SI CRX with a B18B motor/tranny swap. The thing was great last year, very fast with a small turbo. The ECU is from an integra as well & it was spliced into the CRX harness. This year he had it bored to a 2.0, lower compression (he's going to run around 15-25lbs of boost, agressive cams (maybe 292 can't remember), turbo, MSD, DSM injectors, Venom throttlebody, venom cam gears, & a walboro 255 pump. The thing ran great last year (VERY FAST), but now it won't start. The motor turns over but will only run for maybe a half second. i know there are a multitude of things, but I'm wondering about the fuel. When we ran a multimeter there was 12V going to the fuel system when in the run position, but when he would turn the motor over he only gets 8V. Is this normal? We even put the stock injectors just to see & we get the same thing. The motor is in time, checked that like 5times now, the ignition switch is fine, just swapped another in, tried a new ECU. At this point he is seriously ready just to blow the car up & I'm thinking of doing it too...
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

did it start not working after he had it bored out? Maybe the compression is too low for the fuel map you are running. My guess is to probably tune the fuel system ( ECU ) That's just a guess though, because I don't really know a whole lot about tuning computers. You could get a Greddy Emanage if you know anybody that has one, and hook it up to the ecu. It will most likely tell you what's wrong
