THERE IS NO "BETTER" ENGINE. When it comes down to the total amount of money spent, you will get the roughly the same gains from all of them. B18b is the cheapest, but you will need to spend more on a turbo kit. B18C1 is a better engine, but it is more expensive right off the bat. If you buy a b18C1 and turbo it, it will be better than a b18b with a turbo, but will cost you more. The reason no one ever wins these arguments is because there simply is no correct answer. Do research and find out which route that you personally prefer to take.
