Default cluster problems

having some cluster problems when i bought the car it was a wreck so i rebuilt everything and the mil lights and sgnals all work but the illumination in the cluster for the rpm's speed and gas never light up yes im not a retard i checked the dimmer switch and thats moves and has power to it and the blubs have a blue casing over them but they all look like they are in good condition . i also checked the plugs in the back of the cluster and they work any ideas why my fucking lights are gay

Try cleaning the power contacts on the light bulbs and the locations the light bulbs are installed.

Also, with a multimeter:
-do a continuity check on the bulbs
-check for voltage between the power contacts on the cluster for each light bulb location.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

A multimeter is your best friend when trying to diagnose electrical issues.
