Even if it had a B-series and could use the trans, it would place the driveshaft at a harsh angle.

Yeah, wouldn't it be way too close to the pass. side? Plus, I would think that you would have to buy or have made all custom parts for this kind of conversion to work. HUGE waste....

it's been done successfully and posted about it here. I've done one myself (92 EG) and loving it. It's basically a CR-V drivetrain in a Civic's body. Don't listen to all the haters talking shit while they know nothing about it.

Well congrats, you shoud get a cookie.

With the money and fab work, you prob could have gotten a quicker, cheaper and more durable REAL AWD vehicle *cough Subaru, DSM cough*

You want AWD, get one of those, save your money( more money to get a little better AWD, Audi, VW, Acura), time trouble and headaches.

You're so much full of it, it's nauseating. You're exactly the kind of know-it-all hater who is polluting forums like this one about how it isn't worth it, not a real awd system, yada yada yada while you know NOTHING about what's involved. First of all, who told you it cost me so much that I would have been better with a "REAL AWD vehicel", huh ? you have no idea about how little $$$ is actually required. I'd disclose to you how much I ended paying for the project, but you and others haters alike would be even more green of envy.

It took me from thanksgiving weekend to before christmas to get it complete working off and on during weekends. The only fab I had to do was the upper tranny mount, modifying the CR-V's rear trailing arms and rerouting the exhaust.

Oh yeah, and it has been working flawlessly since then (3+ months)

Can I have another cookie now ?
