Default which cv boots?

I need to replace the cv boots on my ride. I'm running into the same problem I always do when ordering parts for it. It's got a '92 JDM b16a in it. The suspension is mostly CRX but the knuckle is Integra (big brakes). Do I order cv boots for the 1.5L or the 1.6L or would they the same?? I'm assuming the half shaft is CRX?!

I've always simply gone to the local auto parts store and got mine. Of course, you tell them what kind of a car it's for and they'll get you the right one. Edit: Oh, i just saw where you were wondering which car to get them for because you've got different axles. Can't help you out there.

Does anyone know what axle is typically used in the CRX/b16a combo?

It depends which axles you have. Most likely you will need boots to match a 90-93 Integra.

I had to buy 90 integra w/ ABS axles for them to fit into my intermediate shaft. I have the s1 transmission(but no idea on the intermediate shaft, which determines the axle u must buy). Either way it will be either 90-93 integra w/ or w/o ABS.

He's looking for boots, not axles. The 90-93 Integra boots are the same, ABS or not. ABS axles differ only in the gear ring attached to them for the ABS sensor pickup.

I was told in another thread that "b-series is b-series is b-series". I absolutely need boots but once I yank out the axle and clean out the joint I need to be ready to buy the whole axle.

At this point, I'm pretty sure I need the Teg components but I'm not sure which axles are interchangeable. Could a '94 axle replace a '92? Even if I can find a '92 locally, it's gonna be from a 1.7L (the GSR I think) because the 1.6L wasn't available for the domestic Integras.

By the way, is there a part # on the axle? That might make my life a whole lot easier!

No. Axles come in different variations based on body width.

B17A1 (GS-R) and B18A1 (RS/LS/GS) axles are identical. The halfshaft is different (shorter) for the automatic RS/LS/GS.
