wierd smoke problem
if they eliminate the o2 it probaly would run really rich.....correct me if i am wrong but i thought the o2 was there for a way of leaning out your injectors or dumping more fuel based on what the o2 reads. get another ecu or rechip your existing one?
ya thats what the o2 sensor is. i dont thing you can just say no i dont want an o2 sensor any more its there for a reason. so take it back to that guy and tell him he is a dumb ass and get an 02 sensor!
RIGHT ON GUYS....i went back to the guy who i traded my spyder to for the crx and told him it was messin up, "the spark pluggs didnt work". he and i then went to the shop and they said "NO IT'S NOT MENT TO ELIMINATE IT, JUST HELP IT READ MORE ACCURATE". So it turns out the guy was just sayin stuff in place of the shop. they showed me what had to be done and fixed it for a minimum fee "which the previous owner payed" and also found out that one of my injectors wires were grounding out causing it to spray constantly. fixed car is running great thanks for the input guys
havent taken it to the track yet but plan on goin this weekend. i wanted to get as much of the problems as i could find fixed so as not to risk it. i will post up times when i get back from the track on sunday as well as time slip pics. anyone have a clue as to what a ls/vtec should hit in the quarter.
