Default what is this??? 1988 crx dx block.

I recently swapped a 1992 civic dx obd1 d15b7 block for a burnt out 1988 crx dx obd0 d15b2 block. The swap went great! everything worked perfectly excpet this one plug that wasn't on the back of the 92 civic block, but was on the back of the crx block. The plug is circled in red, how can i switch this plug off of the 88 block and put it on to the 92 block??? Does anyone know what it is??? Thanks.

that is the cooling fan switch on 88-91 engines - 92 and up has the cooling fan switch on the thermostat housing - if you are using the 92 thermostat housing and 92 harness you don't need that sensor - just leave it - if you don't have the one on the thermostat housing, you need to extend the wires for the connector on the 92 harness and use the 88 switch

yes, but you will need to splice on a different connector in order to plug into the 92 switch, which is on the thermostat housing
