a woman cut across his lane 30 ft in front of him to make a turn when he was going aprox 45mph and he hit her rear quarter and she hit a pole than he went into a ditch and hit a telephone pole

he escaped w/o any injurys but the passenger (another close friend of mine escapped w/ a concussion and whiplash

the car is totaled

yea hes thinking of either a DSM, a 240/sr20 or that has the motor but isnt wired, or a EK hatch.

for the most part we're gonna strip the car because the frame is bent so bad the rear wheel is compleatly decompressed and the sunroof wont close.

most of the interior pieces (sparco wheel, nex race bucket, and guages) will prolly go to the next project

the front end will be cut off and engine pulled and sold, the wheels are already sold, shocks coilovers and camber kits will be sold as well

whats left of the fiber hood will be cut to make guage bezels

i'll prolly buy the powerslots pads and calipers and strut bars and possibly the HAsports

yesturday was indeed a sad day, but this has happened to him twice b4 already so hes taking it pretty well. i think im taking it worse than him at this point

I remember when my 5th Gen hatch Si got t-boned....I was DISTRAUGHT. I basically sold EVERYTHING except for the shell because it the frame was bent. That's when I moved down to the 88-91 scene. But I miss my 5th Gen hatch so much. So I understand what he's going through.

That 240/sr20 sounds interesting.

yea the 240 would be bad ass but im almost certain an AWD turbo DSM is in the future just cause their so cheap and easy to make fast, you can put like 4 grand in one and run like 11's so i can see where hes commin from considering he had about 6 grand in the REX and only ran a 14.8 (i say it like its a bad thing )

theres just a relibility issue with DSM's

I think I'd rather have a 240 then a DSM....no wait...I KNOW I would, not think.

I don't know alot about them, but they look sweet as hell and they are less common then DSMs too.
